On June 2, 2015, Computex Taipei 2015, the world's second largest computer exhibition after CEBIT in Hanover, Germany, and also Asia's largest computer exhibition, opened at the Taipei World Trade Center. This year's Computex focused on three main themes: smart connectivity, mobile applications, and cloud technology and services. A total of 1,702 exhibitors from 21 countries participated (occupying 5,072 booths), and more than 100 forums and seminars, as well as more than 40 new product launches, were held.
