1. Unpacking of a 58mm thermal receipt printer
Check parts: Please check the included parts upon unpacking. If any are missing, please contact the supplier or manufacturer (examples are provided below).

2. Connection method for a 58mm thermal receipt printer
(1) Ensure that both the printer and the PC host are turned off. Plug the matching data communication cable into the printer's data connection port and the other end into the PC host's USB/serial/parallel/network port.
(2) If the cash drawer is equipped with an electrically openable cash drawer, plug the RJ-11 connector on the cash drawer into the cash drawer port of the printer (the specifications of the cash drawer must conform to the specifications of the printer's cash drawer drive).
(3) A dedicated power adapter for connecting the printer.
Please use the dedicated power adapter included with the package. The connection diagram is shown below:

Notice:
(1) First, plug in the printer's power cord (DC12V), then connect it to the AC220V power supply, and then turn on the power switch. Do not reverse the order, otherwise the machine will be damaged.
(2) Using an inappropriate power adapter can degrade print quality or even damage the printer.
(3) Do not connect the telephone line to the cash drawer interface, otherwise the printer and telephone may be damaged.
(4) When plugging or unplugging the printer power cord, hold the printer power connector by the arrow (do not hold it by the arrow).

3. Installation of paper rolls for the receipt printer
The 58mm series printers use 58.0mm thermal paper rolls and feature an easy-loading mechanism, making paper loading very convenient.
The installation method for thermal paper is as follows:
(1) Open the printer cover.
(2) Place the thermal paper roll into the paper loading compartment as shown in the figure below.

(3) Pull a small section of the printing paper out of the box and close the top cover.
(4) Use the machine's blades to tear off the excess paper roll.

4. Bluetooth pairing and printing(Only valid for printers with BU logo)
Before the 58BU printer can be used, it needs to be paired with the main device that drives the 58BU thermal mini printer. The pairing process is initiated by the main device.
The typical pairing method is as follows:
(1) Turn on the printer
(2) The main device searches for external Bluetooth devices
(3) If there are multiple external Bluetooth devices, select the printer with the corresponding BDA address (see the self-test page for details).
(4) Enter the password "0000"
(5) Complete the pairing.
For specific pairing instructions, please refer to the Bluetooth function description of the main device.
During pairing, printers in the 58mm series with a BU interface must be powered on.
Note: When pairing, please do not turn on multiple printers at the same time, otherwise it may be impossible to determine which printer was successfully paired.
After successful pairing, other host computers can still pair with the printer. Each printer can pair with up to 8 host computers. If more host computers pair with the printer, the host computer that was paired with the printer earliest will be automatically removed from the pairing list. If this host computer needs to drive the printer to print, it needs to be paired again.

5. Print using Bluetooth interface(Only valid for printers with BU logo)
For host computers with virtual Bluetooth serial ports (such as smartphones, POCKET PCs, Palm devices, laptops, etc.), after successful pairing, print data can be sent to the 58BU thermal printer via the virtual Bluetooth serial port for printing. If the host computer does not have a virtual Bluetooth serial port, please consult the host computer supplier to drive the 58BU thermal printer.
